spoiling my own fucking fangame because uh. fuck you.

ethan in gssm is an interesting specimen. gssm being my fangame. he basically let the ego of being champion get to his head. he lost most of his friends except for silver and lyra and neither of them are exactly happy about how hes acting. he understands that hes become a very shitty person but every time he tries to stop it he just falls back into old habits.

he finished the kanto and johto dexes, but the one pokemon he never got his hands on was celebi. so when he hears that some kid has caught it he's naturally fucking pissed. but he also has an idea. he can use celebi to go back in time and warn his past self to not become like this. problem solved right...? well some kid isnt about to give celebi to some slightly deranged asshole like ethan so he realizes he may have to take it by force. he tries to be nice about it at first, but it quickly turns to him demanding celebi and following the player around to get his hands on it. hes willing to betray anyone, even his only friends left, to get his hands on it, because the way he sees it, nothing will matter anymore once he gets his hands on it. everything will go back to how it should be.

he, of course, does not get his hands on it. sucks to be ethan.

i imagine even before this he was a little bit abrasive but overall kindhearted, but the pressure of having to live up to red and lance got to his head and he made his only priority to get stronger. i was inspired kinda by gold pokespe (has not read gsc pokespe) because he seems like a total jackass and i think the protagonists should be allowed to be assholes. as a treat.
